First, Wind the cotton Macrame Cord into 6 equal lengths and wind one end of the wire around the middle to secure it.

Holding the wire at the top, fold the cord sections together, wrap the extra bit of cotton around all the cord sections twice (just below the wire end), and tie in a knot. Cut the loops of cord and trim them to be even, this forms the tassel.

Next thread the beads onto the wire, you can follow the pattern in the picture or make up your own.

The picture pattern is: 2x small wooden beads - 1x large wooden bead - 1x small wooden bead - 2x gold beads - 1x star bead - 2x gold beads - 1x small wooden bead - 1x large wooden bead - 2x small wooden beads.

Then, tie a knot at the end of the string to make a hanging loop. Thread the end of the wire through the hanging loop (at the knot end), pull the wire tight, and wrap the rest of the wire around the tail of the string knot.
