Felt Lollipop

First, mark a cross 7cm from the end of the darker felt strip and 6cm from the end of the lighter felt strip. Make a small cut on the centre of the marks about 5mm wide.

Place the darker strip on top of the lighter and wrap them (darker outside) together tightly into a little disc (wrap from the end you measured from). Trim the lighter piece to match the darker one and glue both pieces down. the holes you cut should line up and be visible next the trimmed ends.

Snip a small 5mm hole in the middle of the ribbon.

wrap this around your felt disc (line up the felt holes and ribbon hole) and tie it with a bow to secure.

Next, cover one end of the dowel with glue (glue stick or gum glue only) and push it through the ribbon and felt holes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Slip one end of the string under the ribbon at the top and tie a know in it to form a hanging loop.

Your Felt Lollipop is now ready to hang up!
